Custom Metal Finishing Services
Once created, shaped, or formed, your custom metal fabrication project must be properly finished in order to yield the best-possible results in the application the component is expected to perform. To accomplish this, TMT offers several different metal finishes so you can get to your finished product with better control, timing, and cost.
TMT specializes in the following Metal finishing techniques:
Shot Blasting
Polish, peen, or clean steel-based fabrication projects with TMT’s signature commitment to quality. Shot blasting is a metal finish that creates smooth matte finishes.
Parts Washing
Eliminate residues from the manufacturing process and ensure no assembly or other debris limits the functionality of your components.
Liquid Painting
Whether you need an item painted to protect against corrosion or weather, or your product must be color-coded for safety, TMT offers durable liquid paint finishes in made-to-match color combinations.
Powder Coating
Recognized as one of the more favorable durability-extending coatings available, powder coating adds value and service life to your metal components while also delivering superior resistance to abrasion, corrosion, and heat.
Assembly
For multi-component fabrications or custom fabricated systems, TMT also offers complete assembly and testing in house so that you may take delivery of a completed ready-to-work product.
Zinc Plating
When Iron or Steel must be used in challenging environments, Zinc Plating is one of the ways TMT recommends protecting surfaces against the ruthless forces of corrosion.
Heat Treating
Depending on the applications of your custom fabricated metal component, you may want TMT to perform various heat treated finishing to your project. We have expertise in annealing, case hardening, precipitation strengthening, tempering, normalizing, and quenching – and can apply each technique as best directed for the intended use of your component.
Anodizing
Through TMT’s Anodizing Finishing Solution, you receive the benefits of excellent resistance to abrasion, superior appearance and more protection from corrosion and wear resistance. Anodizing is one of the most environmentally-sound finishing processes utilized to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts.
